Step 2: Test You will receive an email containing a link to our 15-minute engineering test. This is done via Coderbyte and contains 7 questions. Upon completion, Matt (Tech Lead) or Ollie (Software Engineer) will review your results and decide whether to progress to Step 3.

Step 3: Technical Interview You will have a 30-minute technical interview with Brian (Principal Software Engineer) or Franklin (Senior Software Engineer). This interview is designed to assess your technical skills and compatibility with our team.

Step 4: Skills Interview This stage begins with a 30-minute technical interview with Evan (Head of Engineering), immediately followed by a 90-minute exercise that you do on your own immediately after the chat with Evan. ****In this stage, we delve deeper into testing your skills and technical abilities.

Step 5: Loop Interview At the final stage of the interview process, you'll have the opportunity to meet with a few other potential future team members with whom you would work most closely. We typically organise this stage to be 2-3 short back-to-back conversations. For this role, these people include:

  1. Tim (Director of Engineering)
  2. Matt (Tech Lead)
  3. Levi (CEO)

In each of these conversations, we’ll generally be assessing your alignment with Partly’s core values, your compatibility with the team and how you can contribute to and impact our mission.

Step 6: Offer If you are successful in the process, you will receive an offer for the Software Engineer position. This stage will be managed by Harry (SVP Operations & People) or Eileen (Operations Manager), who will work with you to finalise your contract and can answer any additional questions you may have.
